Shuffleboard Tables

Dating from the time of Henry VIII, who banned it for distracting his troops from archery practice, Shuffleboard is currently enjoying a huge resurgence of popularity in the UK. The action takes place on a large wooden slab which runs almost the length of the table, on which the steel pucks glide with silky smoothness. High scores are achieved by getting your pucks into the zones nearest the end of the board.
