This beautifully restored original foosball table from the early 1950’s is a stunning collector’s piece. 

Manufactured by Finale in Montbeliard (Bourgogne-Franche Comté) in Northern France, it is constructed primarily from solid beech and brushed aluminium. This region of France was historically associated with the game as several famous brands were based in the area during the latter half of the 20th century.

Tables such as these would have been the centrepiece of many rural and urban cafes throughout France and this one is no exception. With its dramatic art deco inspired pedestal base and panelling it is quite something to behold and for a game of this age it still plays exceptionally well too. 

The beech cabinet has been sympathetically restored and now glows with a rich warmth whereas the black ebonised waistband and recessed panels have been polished to a lustrous shine. This table would have originally taken 20 Centime coins but the coin mechanism is no longer operational. 

Everything is original with the exception of 2 players, which we have had to replace with hand distressed replica versions.

Rarely do we come across vintage classics such as this remarkable piece, which following its restoration stands ready to entertain the next generation of ‘Babyfoot’ fans.
