Description
Bursting with colour, this Chevrolet “hard board” dealer advertisement was made in 1956 for the launch of “Chevy’s” ‘57 models. It was made just for that year and dealers would change them annually for the next edition, they are seriously collectable and very few are known to still survive, far rarer than the actual cars it displays… It has been professionally mounted by a master framer in hand made fame and protected by glass to ensure its longevity.
This was a very lucky find by our CEO when he was on one of his buying trips in Massachusetts, USA.
The 1957 Chevrolet was a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. The poster highlights the three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten and the One Fifty.
Now a hugely popular and sought after classic car. These vehicles are often restored to their original condition and sometimes modified. The car's image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. The dimensions of this stunning piece are 157cm x 107cm so it will need a fair amount of space!
