The signs, they-are-a-changin', which is why collectors and enthusiasts are prizing these vintage style signs more than ever.

Woodbine was launched in 1888 by W. D. and H. O. Wills. Noted for its strong unfiltered cigarettes, the brand was cheap and popular with the working-class in the early 20th century,  and also found favour with army men during the First and Second world Wars.

This classic original 45.5 cm wide sign is showing its considerable age but in our book that's all part of the character. 

With the ASA having long since banned such advertising we shall of course never see their like again, but they remain rare and highly collectable pieces that were very much of their time.
