Towards the end of last year we were invited to participate in Channel 5's programme on Million Pound Garage Conversions. The one hour documentary allocated a great deal of screen time to the The Games Room Company and focused largely on the remarkable work carried out by our bespoke manufacturing arm - the Waldersmith Manufacturing Company.
This highly specialised division consists of a small number of highly trained craftsmen operating from a state of the art workshop in Surrey, and serves as an exclusive supplier to The Games Room Company's special clients. All their work is painstakingly hand built to order and the Channel 5 programme highlighted one such project.

This was a particularly challenging installation, with both the Rock-Ola jukebox and the pool table having to be manoeuvred up a very tight staircase. We suspect that it was only the presence of the TV cameras which kept the language in check!
Every step of the process was dutifully recorded by the team from EndemolShine, the creatives behind landmark TV shows such as Masterchef, Big Brother, Broadchurch, Black Mirror, and many more.
They spent a whole day with us Weybridge about a fortnight before the installation day, finding out about all the hard work that goes into the creation of a bespoke pool table and learning about the exhaustive restoration work we carry out on vintage jukeboxes and pinball machines.
Work started early in the morning and it was well into the evening by the time we'd completed the project in the space above the client's impressive garage.
With the rest of the family back home and the stunning table finally complete, it was time to cue off!
